  • The weather on Lake Michigan can change quickly, and it is often cooler out on the water than on land. Dressing in layers ensures the upmost comfort during your trip. General recommendations would include soft soled shoes, a jacket or sweatshirt, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat.

    Feel free to bring whatever your crew would like to eat and drink during your outing. A smaller cooler is fine however, space is limited on the boat. After a successful fishing trip you will have substantial bounty of fresh Salmon or Lake Trout fillets. A larger cooler is recommended for transport.

  • Carlson’s Fishery is located just a few short steps from the boat. For a fee of $5 per fish the crew at Carlson’s will professionally fillet and package your fish. Bring a cooler to transport you catch after processing. A portion of your fresh fillets can be taken right up the dock to The Cove restaurant to be prepared for you.
